Authorities are searching for a man they say fired shots toward a Sandy Springs bar Wednesday night from the parking lot.

Police released a photo Thursday of the man, who was forced to leave Tony’s Sports Bar and Grill on Roswell Road moments prior to the shooting, Sandy Springs police spokesman Sgt. Salvador Ortega said. He said at least two groups were fighting inside when they were told to leave.

As the man was walking away, he fired multiple rounds toward the building, Ortega said.

When officers responded to the scene about 11:30 p.m., bullets had struck the building and a vehicle in the parking lot, Ortega added. As of Friday afternoon, some windows still had bullet holes, Channel 2 Action News reported.

No injuries were reported.

“We know this guy is pretty dangerous. For someone to just shoot at a crowd into a business. You have no regard for human life,” Ortega said.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Sandy Springs police Detective Delaney via phone at 770-551-3313 or email at wdelaney@sandyspringsga.gov.
