Man found fatally stabbed on DeKalb sidewalk

A man was found fatally stabbed Friday evening in DeKalb County, police said.

Officers were called to the 4800 block of Lawrenceville Highway, near Jimmy Carter Boulevard in Tucker, shortly after 7 p.m. regarding a person assaulted. At the scene, they found a man in his 30s lying on the sidewalk.

The victim was pronounced dead and was discovered with at least one stab wound, officials said. He was not publicly identified.
