The sole survivor called police about 4:20 a.m. and was believed to be the only witness to the shooting, which happened inside an apartment on Westwood Place. She is expected to survive her injuries, police said. According to Piercefield’s warrant, she was shot in the head.

The suspect also shot Wolfe in the head and shot Davis in the body and leg, the warrant states.

Investigators have not said what motivated the shooting or how Piercefield was tied to the case. It was not known how the three victims were connected.

On Tuesday, Wolfe’s friends and family gathered to collect diapers, clothes and food for her three children, Channel 2 Action News reported. Her youngest child is just 5 months old.

“She had a big heart,” Wolfe’s fiancé, Wendell Evans, told the news station. “And now I got to figure out how to tell these kids. I haven’t even told them that their mom is gone.”
