Three suspects broke into the home of Atlanta Falcons player Antonio Hamilton early Friday, according to Roswell police.

It was Hamilton’s 32nd birthday. Now the cornerback is doing his part to tackle the criminals: He told investigators the incident was captured on his Ring camera.

Officers were called to Hamilton’s Roswell home shortly after midnight, an incident report states. But neighbors told officers the suspects ran out the back door and were no longer in the home.

Investigators used a K-9 officer to search the woods behind the home, which led to the Ansley Golf Club pathways, according to police. During the search, a safe containing firearms and multiple expensive handbags were located near the back fence, the report states.

“Once the K-9 reached the pathway, the scent was no longer able to be tracked, indicating that the suspects were no longer on foot and were possibly in a vehicle,” the report states.

Hamilton told investigators that three suspects dressed in all black entered the home’s back door. He also said his safe and other items were taken, and that his video footage showed the suspects.

An NFL veteran, Hamilton played with four teams over eight seasons before being signed by the Falcons in April. He played in 11 games this past season.

Hamilton purchased his Roswell home in December 2020, according to Fulton County property records.
