Authorities responded to reports of a shooting at Cumberland Mall on Sunday evening, which were later determined to be unfounded, according to Cobb County police.

Police detained multiple individuals following reports of the incident, which originated from a “large fight,” Cobb County Police said.

After investigating, authorities did not find any victims or witnesses of a shooting and determined no shooting had occurred.

“The incident stemmed from a large fight, which has since been resolved,” Cobb County Police said.
