A teenager was arrested Tuesday in connection with a fatal shooting in DeKalb County that happened during a gun purchase, authorities said.

Khyan Bernard Stalling is charged with malice murder in the killing of Tyler Swain, the DeKalb sheriff’s office said. He is being held at the DeKalb County Jail without bond.

The 19-year-old is accused of fatally shooting Swain at a resident in Place Fontaine in unincorporated Lithonia during what authorities called an alleged gun purchase on March 1.

No other details on the shooting were provided, but The Atlanta Journal-Constitution has reached out to authorities for more information.
