A 1-year-old boy was found safe Monday afternoon after being abducted in Stockbridge by his biological father, who does not have custody over him, police said.

Mika Gilchrist, 20, was arrested in DeKalb County by Georgia State Patrol troopers shortly after his son was found, Henry County police said in a news release.

He's accused of taking Bryson Gilchrist around 11:20 a.m., prompting a Levi's Call, police said.

Police did not specify where the child was found.

Authorities did not say what charges the father might face. He’s en route to the Henry County Jail, police said.
