A woman was shot in the head while walking down a Buckhead street with her fiancé Saturday morning, according to Atlanta police.

The couple were walking from a club about 3 a.m. on East Paces Ferry Road when armed robbers jumped out of a red SUV, pointed a silver pistol at them and demanded a book bag the man was carrying, according to a report.

“(The gun) was pointed between my eyebrows and maybe an inch or two away,” the woman told Channel 2 Action News. The couple asked not to be identified.

One of the gunmen fired a shot at the woman, who was left with a 1-inch gash on her forehead above her right eye, according to the police report. She had blood coming from her head, was screaming and told police her eye hurt.

Luckily, she was able to move just enough so that the bullet didn’t kill her, Channel 2 reported.

Atlanta police believe the suspects may have shot someone else during an armed robbery on Gresham Road in east Atlanta less than an hour later. In that robbery, police say the gunmen ordered the victims to strip naked and demanded their belongings.

One of the victims grabbed a suspect’s gun and was shot in the leg. That victim was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital.

“To go a couple of miles and do the same thing to someone else just after you shot somebody, (and) shoot them, too,” the woman said, “that's insane.”

Atlanta police have ordered a lookout for a red GMC Yukon or a Chevy Tahoe with black-tinted windows and a silver strip on the bottom.

She was walking home with her fianc???? early Saturday morning when two armed robbers approached them.
