A woman was hit and killed by a car in Tucker around 7 a.m. Friday.

A 24-year-old pedestrian was hit and killed near Tucker on Friday morning, authorities confirmed.
Around 7 a.m., Virginia Sabino Cuevas, 24, was hit by a car on Frazier Road at Lawrenceville Highway, DeKalb police said. She was taken to a hospital, where she later died.
It’s unknown how she was struck. The driver hasn’t been charged.
An investigation is ongoing.
