A woman may have permanent damage to her eye after an attack outside a Steak 'n Shake in Clayton County.

Police say they need help from the public in identifying a suspect in the Nov. 7 incident outside the restaurant on Mount Zion Parkway in Morrow.

A man “brutally and viciously attacked a female, causing significant damage to her left eye, ripping her cornea and possibly causing permanent damage without provocation,” police said in a news release.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Crime Stoppers Atlanta at 404-577-8477, text information to 274637 or visit crimestoppersatlanta.org. Tipsters can also remain anonymous and be eligible for rewards of up to $2,000.
