A frightened Pamela Williams hid in her closet as she called police during a home invasion almost four years ago.
Four minutes after she called, police arrived at her Amhurst Parkway home and found her beaten and shot in the head. Williams died four days later.
The murder of the Target store manager will be profiled tonight in a new TV series "Murder Calls" on Investigation Discovery. In the episode, viewers will hear the chilling 911 calls Williams made inside her closet before she was killed in November 2013 by accused gunmen Jonathan Banks, James Calhoun and James Sims. The trio received life sentences in December.
During the investigation, police linked Banks, Calhoun and Sims to a home invasion in Williams’ neighborhood 10 months before her death. The men were also tied to 100 thefts in south Fulton County.
“Murder Calls,” a true-crime series, debuted in January. The show chronicles the moments leading to murders through 911 calls and the decisions investigators made in solving the crimes.
Tonight’s episode includes interviews with Williams’ family, key detectives in the case and the 911 operator who heard Williams’ screams and shooting death.
The episode airs at 9 p.m. on Investigation Discovery. Check your local listings here.
