Nearly seven months after a man was found dead in his car riddled with bullets, Atlanta police have arrested the man they believe shot and killed him.

Denarius Harris was arrested Thursday near a high rise in the 30 block of Peachtree Street, Atlanta police Officer Stephanie Brown told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Harris allegedly opened fire Feb. 10 on a car at the Sierra Ridge Apartments in the 3000 block of Delmar Lane.

Dallas Spruill, 23, was found dead in the back seat from multiple gunshot wounds, according to a police report obtained by The AJC.

Harris remains in the Fulton County jail on murder and armed robbery charges.

Police have not said what led to the shooting.
