Two men are in local hospitals after they were shot at an apartment complex Sunday night, DeKalb County police said.
The shooting happened just before midnight in a parking lot at the Austin Oaks Apartment Homes on Glenwood Road, according to DeKalb police spokeswoman Michaela Vincent.
One of the victims had multiple gunshot wounds when he was found at the complex. He was taken to a hospital in critical condition, but police said he is stable.
A second victim arrived at a different hospital a short time later. He told investigators that he had also been shot at the complex, but was not able to provide any other information, Vincent said. His condition is not known.
It is not clear what led to the shooting, but police believe one of the victims was involved in a verbal dispute with the gunman before shots rang out.
No one has been charged in the incident. An investigation is ongoing.
