A serial child molester will serve five life sentences after being convicted Friday of raping and sodomizing three young children in Henry County, authorities said.
David Anthony Jackson, 49, of Stockbridge, was found guilty of two counts of rape, three counts of aggravated child molestation, three counts of child molestation and one count of incest, the Henry County District Attorney’s Office said in a news release.
The sexual incidents occurred in Locust Grove and Stockbridge homes between 2007 and 2016. The children were between the ages of 4 and 9 during the abuse, and they all testified in court.
“(The victims) bravely reported the abuse and testified this week, telling jurors they wanted to be super heroes and protect other children from getting hurt,” District Attorney Darius Pattillo said in the release. “The children and their families are grateful to have justice.”
