After a woman’s dismembered body was dumped at a recycling plant last week and later found at a Bartow County landfill, authorities are asking anyone who was at the Cedar Creek Collection Center on Saturday afternoon to give the sheriff’s office a call.
Hundreds of tips flooded the sheriff’s office in the two days since authorities released a sketch of the woman, Sheriff Clark Millsap said Friday.
In an effort to streamline the process, authorities created a specific tip line (770-387-5110) for people to provide any information they may have on the case or the woman. Tipsters do not have to give their contact information but are encouraged to do so, authorities said.

Officials would also like to speak with anyone who was at the recycling plant between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. Saturday.
Officials said the body was cut into pieces, packed into individual bags and placed in a container at the recycling facility that afternoon before it was sent to the landfill Monday.

A sanitation worker at the landfill found one of the body parts while dumping the container, Millsap said. A bottom torso fell out of a bag that had opened.
On Wednesday, authorities released a sketch of the woman described as being between 5-foot-2 and 5-foot-6, weighing 150 pounds with brown or reddish hair. She is believed to be between 18 and 35 years old.
According to officials, the woman has two names tattooed on each of her shoulder blades. She also has a tattoo on her chest.
Authorities released a photo of another tattoo located on her right wrist area with the hope that it will lead to more information. The tattoo is believed to be the Japanese symbol for bravery.
