Two women turned themselves in this week after tipsters identified them as shoplifting suspects from Conyers, authorities said.

Ambreanca Ponders, 27, of Forest Park, and Litira Rush, 27, of McDonough, were booked into the Rockdale County jail on Tuesday, which was shortly before their alleged accomplice, 30-year-old Timothy Grisson, was arrested in Atlanta, Conyers police told AJC.com.

On July 14, the trio allegedly shoplifted from the Walmart off Dogwood Drive, and when Grisson was confronted by a manager, police said he pointed a gun before bolting, AJC.com previously reported.

Grisson was found at a Burger King on Peyton Road in Atlanta, where he was arrested and handed over to Conyers police, Atlanta police said.

Ponders and Rush face a count of felony shoplifting, while Grisson was charged with felony shoplifting, aggravated assault, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, jail records show.

In 2012, he spent nearly four months in prison for theft by receiving and possessing tools to commit a crime in Cobb County, according to Georgia Department of Corrections records.

All three remain in the Rockdale County jail.
