DeKalb County police are looking for a person of interest in the deadly shooting of a 20-year-old man whose body was found at a Lithonia gas station.

The victim was identified as Traveon Smith, Sgt. J.D. Spencer said Friday in a statement.

Detectives think the man is associated with a particular vehicle. Police released a photo of a second man earlier Friday, but Spencer said he “made contact with detectives and is no longer a person of interest.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact DeKalb police.
