A teen was shot and killed during a road rage incident in Decatur Wednesday afternoon, Channel 2 Action News reported.

Police arrived at the intersection of South Candler Street and Midway Road around 5:45 p.m. to find two people shot inside a car, Decatur Police said in a Facebook post.

Both were transported to a hospital, where one of the two died, police said. The other is being treated for non-life threatening injuries.

Channel 2 reported the maroon car both victims were in had its window shattered due to gunfire.

The suspect is believed to be driving a black Chrysler 200 or 300 and was last seen traveling southbound on South Candler Street, police said.

The GBI has been called out to assist in the investigation, according to a tweet by the agency.
