A man faces a felony charge after allegedly being discovered peeping inside the women’s restroom at WellStar Cobb Hospital last week, authorities said.

Elisha Kirby Gilbert, 37, of Kennesaw, was charged with peeping Tom on Friday after a hospital security guard found him inside the restroom harassing women, police told Channel 2 Action News. A hospital spokeswoman said they’re investigating the incident.

He was previously arrested at the hospital for criminal trespassing, but he “kept returning to the property,” according to an incident report obtained by Channel 2.

When Gilbert was being arrested, he allegedly tried to convince an officer to touch him inappropriately during a pat-down, the news station reported.

He’s been arrested several times since 2010 on charges including criminal trespassing, vandalism and cruelty to children, Channel 2 reported. On Thursday afternoon, he remained in jail on a $8,470 bond, records show.
