A man who has made appearances on VH1’s “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta” has been questioned in connection with a shooting that left two men dead, Atlanta police said.
Lyndon Akhil Smith, better known as "Sas," allegedly witnessed the Aug. 27 shooting that killed Omar Salahuddin and Ryan Pittman, authorities said.
The incident started as an exchange of gunfire outside a Martin Luther King Jr. Drive Quick Mart gas station around 11:30 p.m., according to a police incident report.
Salahuddin, 40, of Atlanta, was found shot in the head at the gas station and taken to Grady Memorial Hospital where he later died, officials said.
Pittman, 26, of Mableton, attempted to drive away, but he careened across a grassy field, jumped a curb and hit another vehicle entering the ramp onto I-285, according to the report.
