Police are looking for a group of four who left behind scooters and a bicycle after a shooting Tuesday on a busy downtown Atlanta street, Channel 2 Action News reported.

The four confronted the 21-year-old victim outside the Yumm Teriyaki restaurant on Peachtree Street about 10:30 p.m. Tuesday, Atlanta police told the news station. The man was shot multiple times and ran nearly two blocks down Martin Luther King Jr. Drive before he collapsed.

He was rushed to a local hospital in critical condition.

Police found two rental scooters and a bicycle abandoned near the crime scene. The group was seen on the restaurant’s surveillance footage riding down the street before approaching the 21-year-old, Atlanta police Capt. Reginald Moorman told Channel 2.

“Upon looking at the video, the shooter was actually on foot,” he said.

Investigators are hoping to speak with more witnesses. Tipsters can remain anonymous, and be eligible for rewards of up to $2,000, by contacting Crime Stoppers Atlanta at 404-577-8477, texting information to 274637 or visiting the Crime Stoppers website.
