He was charged with public intoxication after being arrested near San Jacinto Boulevard, police said.

A witness told the celebrity gossip site TMZ that LaBeouf ran down the street and jaywalked in front of police, who warned him against doing it.

LaBeouf rose to stardom on the Disney Channel's "Even Stevens" and then broke out in "Transformers," "Eagle Eye," and "Disturbia" as well as a recent Indiana Jones film and Oliver Stone's "Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps."
