Acworth police have arrested two more suspects in connection with a gas station shooting that left a man seriously injured Sunday afternoon, bringing the number of people arrested in the case to four.

Officers were called to a Chevron on Baker Road about 5 p.m after a witness heard gunshots and saw someone run away from the victim’s vehicle, jump into another car and drive off, police said.

The victim, Xavier Vision, was shot once in the jaw. He was taken to WellStar Kennestone Hospital and is expected to be OK, police said.

Acworth police Capt. Mark Cheatham said the witness was able to provide a vehicle description that helped police track down two of the shooting suspects after the vehicle was spotted and stopped by Kennesaw police.

On Wednesday, Acworth police identified the four suspects in the case as 17-year-old Maxiamilian Allen Guzman of Woodstock, 21-year-old Jerry Bland of Powder Springs, 21-year-old Talyrica Hampton of Marietta and 19-year-old Cornelius Harshaw of Canton. Investigators believe Bland was the one who shot Vision.

Hampton and Harshaw were arrested Sunday, and Guzman and Bland were arrested Tuesday, a police spokeswoman said.

All four have been charged with aggravated assault with intent to rob. The suspects are being held at the Cobb County jail without bond, records show.
