Clayton County deputies are asking the public for help locating a man wanted in connection with a shooting that killed a 7-year-old boy Saturday afternoon.
The child, who has not been identified, was struck by a stray bullet while he was inside his home in the 1600 block of Lamont Avenue in Conley, AJC.com previously reported.

An 18-year-old man, who police say was targeted in the shooting, was taken to the hospital after being shot. On Tuesday, deputies said his older brother, Darnell Hansa Howard, is wanted in connection with the incident.
Clayton County police said the shooting was the result of an altercation between the 18-year-old and the occupants of a white sedan. The 7-year-old was not related to the older teen and had nothing to do with the dispute, authorities said.
Howard is already wanted for aggravated assault with a gun and violating his probation, Sheriff Victor Hill said Tuesday. He should be considered armed and dangerous.
He is 5-foot-10 and about 160 pounds, authorities said. Howard has a tattoo of an “A” on his right arm and another one that says “Grady Baby,” deputies said. He also has a Nike symbol tattooed on his left hand.
"Every wannabe gangster in a 5-mile radius of where the child was killed will feel the wrath of the sheriff's office until someone tells us who is responsible for this," Hill said in a news release.
Anyone who sees Howard or knows his whereabouts is asked to call the Clayton County Sheriff's Office at 770-477-4479. A cash reward may be available for tipsters who call Crime Stoppers at 404-577-8477, and information may be submitted anonymously on the sheriff's office tip line.
Clayton County police have not released any additional information about the case, citing an ongoing investigation.
