A man accused of stabbing his girlfriend to death has been indicted on murder charges, according to court documents.
Wendall Gregory Armour, 49, was taken into custody Feb. 18 after Jodi Lane Gerrell was found dead a day earlier in a residence in the 4700 block of Miller Lake Road, Hall County sheriff’s Sgt. Stephen Wilbanks said.
About 6 p.m. Feb. 17, deputies and emergency responders were called about a man “behaving abnormally” at a home in the same area. The man, later identified as Armour, was taken to Northeast Georgia Medical Center for evaluation and observation.
He was indicted Feb. 26 on charges of aggravated assault, felony murder, malice murder and possession of a knife during the commission of a felony, according to court documents.
