For the second time this month, authorities have announced new charges for a Hall County man following a child porn bust last fall.
Steven Joseph Robertson, 27, was initially arrested in October on 26 counts of sexual exploitation of children after sheriff’s deputies allegedly found explicit videos on devices seized from his Flowery Branch home. Processing of those devices uncovered additional videos, prompting 26 new charges against Roberson earlier this month, authorities said.

“Investigators just received the results of forensic processing on the final device that was seized last fall,” Hall County Sheriff’s spokesman Derreck Booth told AJC.com on Thursday. “They obtained an additional arrest warrant for these counts on Monday.”
Twenty-five more digital images, including digital videos and still photos, that showed “children engaged in sexually explicit conduct” were found on the last device, he said. The corresponding 25 charges announced Monday bring Robertson’s total count to 77.
Robertson has been in jail without bond since his October arrest. Authorities began investigating him after the Georgia Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force passed along a cyber tip.
