Bartow County 911 operators received a bizarre call Sunday from a man accused of attempting to rob a tire shop.

The man called for help after a tall tire rack fell on top of him.

Nathaniel King, 30, broke into the shop through the front door, police told Channel 2 Action News. While he was inside, a rack of tires came crashing down on him.

On a 911 call obtained by Channel 2, King frantically tells operators, “I think the tire rack is going to kill me.”

Police arrived at the scene shortly after the call and heard him yelling for help. They found him pinned under the rack and arrested him on charges of breaking and entering.

He was not seriously injured and remains in the Bartow County jail.
