More than two months after a 22-year-old woman was found shot to death in her bedroom, police have charged her boyfriend with murder, authorities said Wednesday.

Felony murder warrants have been obtained for Antonio Littlejohn in connection with the death of Jennifer Jacobs, Athens-Clarke County police spokesman Epifanio Rodriguez said.

Littlejohn was already in custody on firearms violations, according to police.

He and an unidentified person were at Jacobs’ Sartian Drive home at the time of her death, Rodriguez said.

Officers were dispatched to the residence Jan. 29 after getting a report of a shooting. When they arrived, they found Jacobs dead from a gunshot wound to the chest.
