A triple shooting in Brookhaven early Sunday left one person dead and two injured.

One person was killed in a shooting that also injured two people overnight outside a DeKalb County restaurant, according to authorities.

Brookhaven officers responded about 2 a.m. Sunday to calls about a fight outside the Acapulco Restaurant and Bar in the 3000 block of Buford Highway, spokesman Brandon Gurley said in a statement.

Multiple gunshots were fired, officers said.

Three victims with gunshot wounds were found in various locations in the shopping center parking lot, Gurley said.

One person was pronounced dead at the scene, and two people were taken to hospitals. Their injuries are not considered life-threatening.

No identities were released.

Anyone with knowledge of the incident is asked to contact Brookhaven police.
