A man was killed after an argument that started inside a DeKalb County Walmart ended in gunfire in the parking lot, police said.

The victim, identified by police as 22-year-old Jeremiah Smith, died at a hospital after the shooting Sunday night at the Fairington Road store in Stonecrest.

It is unknown how many people were involved in the initial argument inside the store. A shooting suspect has been identified, but his name is not being released as an investigation is ongoing, according to DeKalb police spokeswoman Michaela Vincent.
