A woman and two men were killed in a shooting and crash overnight in the city of South Fulton, police said.

Officers responded to the 6600 block of Hidden Brook Trail shortly after 4 a.m. Saturday after receiving a call about a shooting and overturned vehicle, South Fulton police spokesman Lt. Derrick Rogers said.

Police arrived to find a man lying in the street with a gunshot wound, Rogers said. He was later pronounced dead.

“Two additional victims were located in the overturned vehicle who were also suffering from gunshot wounds,” he said. “These victims were transported to an area hospital for treatment with life-threatening injuries and have been pronounced deceased.”

Investigators believe the victims came to a home on Hidden Brook Trail to visit with someone. During that visit, an altercation ensued, “leading to an exchange of gunfire between all parties,” Rogers said.

The case is still under investigation and no other information has been released.
