A Walmart distribution center that was evacuated during a bomb threat has resumed operations after police found no explosives.

Union City police cleared the South Fulton Parkway facility on Saturday afternoon to investigate the threat, police spokesman Officer Jerald January said

The department requested assistance from several law enforcement agencies, including the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office, Federal Protective Service Police, the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office, Atlanta police and the Georgia State Patrol.

The all-clear was given after authorities searched the area and found nothing.

Police have not said what prompted the bomb scare.
