A man left a southwest Atlanta church service Wednesday night and spotted someone trying to break into his car. After confronting the suspect, gunfire rang out, police said.

The victim was grazed by a bullet outside the All Nations Worship Assembly at 1994 Perkerson Road, Atlanta police said. His injuries are non-life-threatening.

The suspect ran away after firing the gunshot, police said. No description of the suspect was provided.
