Two people were killed in a triple shooting at a southwest Atlanta gas station Wednesday night.

Two men and a woman were shot during an exchange of gunfire at a Chevron at Pryor Road and University Avenue just before 11 p.m., police said.

One man and the woman were found dead in a red car with the right passenger side window shattered, Channel 2 Action News reported. The other man was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital, and police expect him to survive.

None of the people involved has been identified.

“At this time, it appears that the three parties met at the location and had a conversation that eventually escalated into an exchange of gunfire,” police spokesman Officer Jarius Daugherty said in a statement.

Investigators are still working to determine the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
