Authorities have identified a man accused of pretending to be a customer and stealing $17,000 in an armed robbery at a Publix in McDonough.
Warrants have been issued for Isaiah Alexander, Henry County police said in a Facebook post. Police said Alexander is known to drive a black Ford 500 and should be considered armed and dangerous.

Alexander has been on the run since the July 13 armed robbery at the store in the 2100 block of Ga. 20.
Alexander grabbed a shopping cart, perused the aisles and grabbed a beer, which he drank while shopping, police told Channel 2 Action News reported. Not long into his shopping trip, the man asked to speak to a manager.
Police said Alexander then pulled a gun on the manager and demanded money from a safe in the store’s back office, Channel 2 reported.
Alexander made off with $17,000 before escaping through a back door near the loading dock, according to the news station.
The opened beer was sent to the GBI with the hopes the suspect’s DNA would be pulled from it, Channel 2 reported. It’s not clear how the man was identified by authorities.
