Police are searching for suspects who fought a homeowner Sunday night before fatally shooting him in his southwest Atlanta home.

After a knock on the door of his Stanton Road home, Rashaud Broner answered it only to be confronted by a group of men with guns, according to the police report obtained by The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Broner, 29, and the men got into a fight, which ended with him being shot in the stomach, police said.

He was rushed to Grady Memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

No other information, including descriptions of potential suspects, was released on the crime.
