A Georgia prison guard was arrested and fired after he was caught on security video having sex with an inmate, according to the sheriff.
An inmate who was released the day after Christmas alerted Putnam County sheriff's officials about Durell Malik Roberson, 20, of Milledgeville, according to the Macon Telegraph.
Sheriff Howard Sills personally arrested and fired Roberson on Tuesday, he told the newspaper.
Officials installed a camera and captured an alleged sexual encounter between Roberson and the female inmate earlier this week.
Roberson was charged with sexual assault by a person with supervisory or disciplinary authority, aggravated sodomy and violation of oath by a public officer, the newspaper reported.
