Driver, vehicle sought in fatal hit-and-run in Gwinnett

Evidence collected at the scene indicated the car that hit Brown was a 2013-2015 Nissan Sentra of unknown color.

Gwinnett County police are searching for a driver who hit and killed a man without stopping.

Just before midnight Saturday, officers responded to a call about a man lying in the 1300 block of Beaver Ruin Road in unincorporated Norcross, Gwinnett police spokesman Cpl. Wilbert Rundles said. The man, identified as 38-year-old Kevin Brown, was unresponsive in the roadway, authorities said. Brown was taken to a nearby hospital, where he died.

Evidence indicated the car that hit Brown was a 2013-2015 Nissan Sentra of unknown color.

“The vehicle will have a missing front grill and most likely will have damage in the area of the front bumper, hood and windshield,” Rundles said.
