A 19-year-old woman was booked into the DeKalb County jail Wednesday after police said she and three other women beat and robbed another woman during a fight over a man.
Kiarra Walton faces aggravated assault and robbery by force charges in the July 2 attack in Stone Mountain, according to DeKalb police.
Police said the victim allegedly went to the Mystic gas station on Memorial Drive with the expectation of fighting Walton. But three other women, including Walton’s twin sister Kiana, joined in, DeKalb police spokeswoman Shiera Campbell said.
The women allegedly made off with the victim’s sneakers and iPhone.
Authorities arrested Walton after she taunted police in a social media post following a media report on the alleged assault, Campbell said.
Police are searching for the other women involved in the incident.
