A former University of Georgia offensive lineman was arrested at an Athens Walmart after he allegedly bagged extra items in a self-checkout line, police said.

Dyshon Sims was arrested Thursday at the store’s Lexington Road location. According to police, a Walmart security officer saw Sims place about $130 worth of household items into his shopping bag, but he only paid for the $50 worth of items he actually scanned.

Sims was charged with shoplifting, Athens-Clarke County police spokesman Epifanio Rodriguez said.
