A man is in critical condition after being shot in southwest Atlanta on Thursday night, police said.

A little after 9:45 p.m., officers responded to the Texaco gas station at 1117 Lee Street, where the man had been shot, Atlanta police Sgt. John Chafee said.

The man’s specific injuries were not provided, but he was rushed to Grady Memorial Hospital. Investigators are at the scene, working to determine what led up to the shooting.
