3 in hospital after shooting in DeKalb elementary school parking lot

Three people were taken to a hospital Monday night after they were shot in the parking lot of a DeKalb County elementary school, officials said.

The incident happened outside Narvie J. Harris Elementary School, according to the DeKalb County School District. The details of the shooting are not clear, but the victims are stable, the district said.

Two people were arrested and charged with aggravated assault in connection with the incident. Their names have not been released.

DeKalb County School District police are still investigating the shooting.
