The standoff began shortly before 7 p.m. Thursday when deputies responded to the incident at a home on Mountain Vista Court in the Hampton subdivision, the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office said.

The Forsyth County SWAT team was activated when authorities learned 45-year-old Stephan Reynolds barricaded himself inside the residence with several weapons, Miller said.
