Cobb police have arrested the man believed to be responsible for punching an 84-year-old woman outside a Vinings Publix on Tuesday and stealing her purse.
Oluwole Olushola, 42, was arrested by the U.S. Marshal’s Metro Fugitive Task Force on Friday after he was identified as a suspect in the case, Cobb police spokesman Sgt. Wayne Delk said.
In addition to the robbery charge, Olushola faces numerous other charges ranging from battery to fraud, Delk said.

The incident occurred just before 9:30 Tuesday morning outside the Publix on Cumberland Parkway.
The woman, Sondra Dillon, told Channel 2 Action News she had just gotten to the store to meet her friend when the man came “out of the blue.”
“Shot out like a bird flying in and stopped the car,” she said. “Jumped out. It was all in a flash.”
Dillon told police the man hopped back in the car and drove away after punching and robbing her.
Surveillance footage showed the man pulling away in a 2005 Toyota Camry with a dealer drive-out tag and extensive damage to the driver’s side of the car.
Olushola is being booked into the Cobb County Jail, records show.
He is charged with three counts of identity fraud, three counts of financial transaction card theft, one count of robbery and one count of simple battery against a person older than 65.
