A teenager wanted in connection with the death of a 16-year-old girl has surrendered, Atlanta police said.

Quotavious Anderson, 17, allegedly shot Kashara Parks about 4:49 p.m. Friday at the Allen Temple Apartments in northwest Atlanta. Parks was found dead in the living room of a unit in the 3100 block of Reeves Circle, Officer Kim Jones said.

Anderson, who was wanted on a murder charge, turned himself in Monday at the Fulton County Jail, Jones said.

No other details were released.
