Randy Smith, a beloved yoga instructor, was found shot to death in one of his Atlanta properties Sept. 11, 2016.

Now, more than a year later, the U.S. Army veteran’s case will be profiled on the hit crime TV show “The First 48.”

The crime show, which airs at 8 p.m. Thursday, will highlight how Atlanta homicide detectives were able to crack the case.

Smith was shot and killed in the 100 block of Joseph E. Lowery Boulevard last year, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution previously reported. His car was found 6 miles away from the crime scene.

A 16-year-old, who has not been named, was arrested a few days later and charged in the murder.
