Atlanta rapper Rich Homie Quan and five others were arrested on drug charges in Middle Georgia over the Memorial Day weekend.

The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office confirmed the rapper, whose real name is Dequantes Devontay Lamar, was arrested Saturday on his way to a concert in Wadley.

Lamar was arrested on a charge of felony marijuana possession with the intent to distribute at a police checkpoint just outside the city. He was taken to the Jefferson County jail and given a $20,000 cash bond.

He has since bonded out of jail.

Four others in Lamar’s entourage were also arrested and charged: Qunard Deontay Davis, Michael Deangelo Lewis, Demetrius Jerel Thomas and Ricardo Reshard White. Their charges were not immediately available.

Lamar’s girlfriend was arrested but not charged in the incident.

In March, the rapper performed "Flex (Ooh, Ooh, Ooh)" at V103's "Pop Up Live" at Philips Arena. In April, he released his mixtape "Back to the Basics," which features his latest song, "Replay."
