Complaints ranging from sexual abuse to theft prompted a probe of a Gwinnett County hospital that treats people with drug addictions and mental illnesses.

Authorities have also received reports of physical abuse, neglect and missing persons at Lakeview Behavioral Health in unincorporated Norcross, Gwinnett police spokeswoman Cpl. Michele Pihera said Wednesday in a news release.

“Victims are coming forward with unexplained injuries while being treated at the facility,” she said.

The youngest accuser is 23 years old, according to Pihera. The oldest is 65.

It’s not clear how many people have come forward, but the police department is looking into “several complaints,” Pihera said.

No arrest warrants have been issued, but police want to speak to witnesses of the alleged crimes as well as any additional victims.

Tipsters can remain anonymous, and be eligible for rewards of up to $2,000, by contacting Crime Stoppers Atlanta at 404-577-8477, texting information to 274637 or visiting the Crime Stoppers website.
