The third suspect in a gang-related homicide in an upscale Gwinnett County neighborhood has been arrested.
Online records show Durell Leeshon Lewis, 25, was booked into the Gwinnett County jail Friday evening on charges including two counts of murder, armed robbery, aggravated assault, false imprisonment and participation in gang activity. Lewis was named Wednesday as a suspect in the November shooting that killed 25-year-old Jeffery Anderson at a home in the River Station Estates subdivision near Lawrenceville.
Two other men — Dossie Davon Man, 19, and Gordon Anthony Evans, 34 — were arrested and charged in the case in February.
Anderson was found dead just before midnight on Nov. 24 after a passerby flagged down an officer and told them "she had heard from a resident (of River Station Court) that there was possibly a deceased male" inside a nearby home, Gwinnett police said previously. Authorities have described Anderson's death as a gang-related homicide but released few other details.
How Lewis was arrested Friday was unclear. Jail logs listed the Gwinnett County Sheriff’s Office as the arresting agency.
