Cherokee High’s marching band receives coveted invite

The Cherokee High School Marching Band of Warriors has accepted a coveted invitation to perform in the largest New Year’s Day parade in the world in London in 2015. Catherine Longworth, the former Lord Mayor of Westminster, and Robert Bone, executive director of London’s New Year’s Day parade, traveled to the school Thursday to extend the formal invitation to the band.
